Gypsy’s Vendetta is based on the plot of the classic packet trick “Gypsy’s Curse” by Peter Kane. This is Patrick’s handling which you will find to be very easy to perform and very deceptive. Starting with a packet of seven cards the performer displays each counting hand to hand to show that six are the same card and one (the ‘money’ card) is different. The spectator therefore has a one in seven chance of guessing the location of the money card to win. But as the trick proceeds, the six similar cards are seen to change, one at a time, to match the ‘money’ card until finally ALL are changed. The spectator will swear they have seen the front and back of every card.

The handling of this effect is very simple and logical … but it will leave the spectator clueless.
